I came here on a Sunday with 6 of my best friends, with one mission only: bottomless brunch. Before coming I was so excited about this place, I’d already dissected the menu and planned down to a T what I was going to eat. My friends had already text me their orders.
Set on Thayer Street in Marylebone, you could easily walk past Pachamama, with it’s understated entrance. A few roads away from the hustle, bustle (and let’s face it) stress of Oxford Circus, this part of town feels a lot more chillaxed.
Pachamama opened at 12 and we were there on the dot. The restaurant itself is really cute, and very beautifully furnised. Upon being seated, we were given the set menu and the brunch menu, but we already knew what we wanted: ‘unlimited pisco punch please, with a side of waffley goodness’.
I ordered the Peruvian chocolate, toasted quinoa ice cream and cacao crumb waffles. This is a ‘must have’ for chocolate lovers. A bit chocolate-heavy, the toasted quinoa ice cream really balanced the dish. One of these is enough, they are so filling.
We got good value for money with the £20 bottomless brunch. At the beginning we were told we had a 2 hour time period for this offer – I think we ended up staying there around 3 and a half hours. The staff were really friendly and it was clear they wanted us to enjoy ourselves. There was no rush for us to leave.
The price was great value. Roughly £30 for bottomless brunch (£10 waffle + £20 unlimited punch and this kept flowing). I really enjoyed brunch here, I will definitely be coming back for dinner.
